#AllSummer16

School is back in session, the days are shorter and the nights are cooler. These are all signs that the summer is coming to an unfortunate end.

But, it’s not our style to go out without a bang.

So what did we do? We threw a party!

and REACH LA hosted an “All Summer 16 Pool Party” on August 27 and we partied all day. Well ok not really, that’s not our style. We partied from 12–6 p.m.

Entry to the party was free if any of the guests tested at one of our partner sites or if they took a survey upon entry. Because FREE… is our style.

And it’s our style to party the right way.

Sounds were featured by the lovely DJ AK47, sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Men’s Health Foundation.

Of course just about the only one who actually swam at the pool party was this cute duck.

Because it’s not LA style to go to a pool party and do more than dip your feet in the pool.

But, it is our style to go to a pool party and snap(chat) a couple of pics with our friends.

We asked #RevInColor members and friends why they are the Revolution.

I am the Revolution because:

Although we didn’t do much swimming, we did a lot of dancing and did a lot of laughing.

Pool parties aren’t always about the pool and Revolution in Color isn’t all about Thursday evening meetings.

We are a group of young Black leaders and it’s our style to not only come out and have fun

but to come out,

Love

And SLAY!

#RevInColor

Revolution in Color meets every Thursday at from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 1833 W. 8th Street, Ste. 208. Connect at www.facebook.com/RevInColor
